With so many Pains in the world, of so many different varieties, it can be very easy for the novice Painspotter to become overwhelmed.

For example, without powerful spotting skills, it can be difficult to know whether the person lying in the gutter before you is a recently evicted Savvy Squatter, a Dogger who has pushed the boundaries of dogging just that little bit too far, or a Gravy Train Politician who has seen better days. Expecting the novice Painspotter to identify the said Pain correctly is just like an overbearing naturalist asking a child to identify a bird, mammal, mineral or type of excrement.

That's why we have produced the Painspotting books. But as we all know, there are millions of Pains out there, so having just 200 to work with isn't ideal. In order to rectify this, we are offering you, the global Painspotting community, the chance to select the next Painspotting guide which will be lovingly produced by Andrew and Dan.
