One of the things that about the human race is their ability to tell great stories. Because our forebears didn't benefit from Sky TV or the IPhone, they had to entertain themselves. And apart from having the occasional fight with the hard-man from a nearby tribe or a bit of rumpy pumpy with a bearded lady, there wasn't much else to do apart from tell stories. Who knows what they talked about - maybe the Sabre Toothed Tiger that bit the arm of one of the tribe, or perhaps the amusing incident when the Chieftan fell off a cliff.
So it would be great to share your stories with your fellow Painspotters and we will showcase the best ones we receive every month. And, we might even award a prize or two for the very best; a bit like Letter of the Week you see in those brain-dead magazines you read at the airport or on the beach. As story telling is kind of built into each and everyone one of us, we all like to tell them to those that are willing to listen and let's face it, we all love a great tale don't we? Painspotters are known to be some of the most expert story tellers of all time; better than Aesop, the Brothers Grimm and of course Shakespeare (mind you he wasn't so much a story teller as an early form of anathestic).
